Cameron Carr hails from Sacramento, California and his family background spans many cultural and professional platforms which allows him to work easily with persons from all walks of life.

He developed a love of film and media at an early age where his artistic ability and attention to detail was undeniable.

Intrigued by both animation and documentaries, his interest in cinema peaked at age 9. As he grew older and recognized the importance of collaboration and using his voice, he was further inspired to be a change agent as a filmmaker, and he has dedicated himself to learning the rules of the industry to facilitate change artistically.

Cameron earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Writing For Television and Film from the Academy of Art in San Francisco. It was at the Academy of Art, he gained a firm understanding of writing for television versus writing for the cinematic experience. This coupled with his attendance at the American Black Film Festival annually for the past several years has only increased his breadth of experience and desire to make his impact in this industry.

Cameron has a great love of the narrative experience and welcomes clients that allow him to utilize written prose to foster positive change. His natural leadership tendencies allow him to take charge of a project or vision and breathe life into it. As an up-and-coming screenwriter.

Cameron has worked with famous artists such as Fantastic Negrito, three-time Grammy Award Winning artist and NPR Tiny Desk Winner and Malcolm Spellman, NAACP Image Award Winner, Producer and Writer. His first film production was featured in the Oakland Drunken Film Festival and was shot in his apartment.
